As with Lucky’s other designs, the Road Rebel is made from quality leather. The soft, pebbled material makes this handbag well worth its $199 price tag, especially considering the relatively generous size of the purse. Although the Road Rebel is also available in a slightly larger oversized version, this shopper is ideal for everyday use, without being too bulky to carry around in your arms throughout the day. 

With curved topstitching and a few tassels, the Road Rebel is all casual and definitely not meant for dressing up. I wouldn’t recommend it for evening outings, but the style is ideal for days spent in jeans and t-shirts.

This deep cobalt blue leather is fabulous for the season, but you can also get this shopper in a slightly more versatile brown color. Look for it also in patchwork or metallic leather versions.

Sometimes functional hobos get to take a break from being useful and concentrate instead on being good fun.

This Sharif bag may not be constructed from real leather (such a shame), but it sure as hell looks like it is. That fun nature is channeled through a patchwork pattern of suede-esque and patent panels, which work together to give the bag shape and also a bit of attitude. After all, if you are going to have a good time you might as well look good whilst doing so!

The delicate girly side of this purse is provided by the big blue and green flower applique, both coordinating and contrasting with the slouchy hobo body. Just in case you thought this was getting a little serious and fashion-heavy, however, the brand are clever enough to break up the blue monotony with chain detailing and studs. Even better, the shoulder part of the handle is in leather, so you get the looks of chain without the discomfort!

Elegant and delicate day-wear, this is a great way to carry your belongings without looking like you are also carrying the kitchen sink. Just be careful not to over-pack and ruin the effect. What more could a work hard and party harder girl want?

Loop NYC abandons the cartoon characters and pop culture looks it typically favors for this fun floral satchel.

From the Baliwood collection, this satchel is difficult to ignore. It’s covered in cheery flowers rendered in vibrant tones like red, blue, and purple. The blooms are overlaid with even more flowers cut out from white PVC. This glossy fabric is used again to trim the front flap pocket and create the braided shoulder straps.

This is a medium sized purse by today’s standards, which may disappoint pack rats. However I think a print like this would overwhelm if it were on a bag any larger. It’s up to carrying your daily essentials and lightweight enough to suit everyday use. I’d appreciate a few more pockets, but at just $35 I’m not surprised that there’s only one inside.

The Baliwood satchel’s sunny disposition won’t please everyone, especially those looking to make a sophisticated fashion statement, but it puts a smile on my face! Pair it with jeans and a tee or a plain sundress to make your simple outfit something special!

Botkier has teamed up with popular handbag website PurseBlog for a very special handbag collaboration. Rather than the “experts” telling fashion fans what they want, PurseBlog readers will decide on the design.

Polls set up on the website will allow the site’s fans to vote on the bag’s silhouette, leathers, and hardware. The possible looks take their cues from some of Botkier’s most popular designs: the Taylor Crossbody, the Uma Satchel, the Trigger Satchel, and the Sasha Duffle bag. Then Botkier will add leathers created exclusively for the project. PurseBlog readers can choose from glossy copper snakeskin printed calfskin, black lizard embossed lambskin, distressed grey washed lambskin, and red lambskin with a mauve diamond cut laser finish. Then the hardware is up for negotiation: either gunmetal, satin nickel, satin gold, or antique brass.

Once the initial voting is complete, Botkier will mock up some completed purses for fans to vote on. Once the final design is decided upon, Botkier will sell the finished purse on their website.

Louis Vuitton must have a finger on the pulse of kitschy cute fashion because their new Animania collection hits right on the increasingly popular appeal of vintage-inspired, woodland creatures and various feathered friends.

This new line of small accessories actually pays tribute to a selection of wooden animal-shaped toys that the Vuitton family made and that Renée, the wife of Gaston-Louis Vuitton, lovingly collected many decades ago. So, in honor of her collection, Louis Vuitton has created this new line of whimsical products all proudly displaying the brand’s famous logo.

Within the Animania collection, you’ll find an assortment of coin purses, tiny clutches, bag charms, and silk scarves. The animal shapes throughout the line include a squirrel, rooster, songbird, and bunny. Prices range from $220 for the scarf to $500 for the coin purses.

That’s a pretty penny to pay for such small pieces, but I’m guessing that LV fans with money to spend will find these accessories irresistible. They are, after all, très adorable.

Diesel’s New Generation line is supposed to be slightly cutting edge and futuristic in style, but frankly I just see function and convenience when I look at the collection of nylon bags and totes.

I suppose the durability of the material combined with interesting design features is the reason that the brand classifies it as new and exciting. Call me overly critical, but this Becky shoulder bag from the line might be durable and interesting, but is definitely not exciting.

Whether or not the Becky thrills my sense of style, it’s still a decently crafted handbag with aspects that make it worth checking out. That’s especially true if your personal taste is more about “fashion meets function” rather than the appeal of the looks alone. The nylon body and canvas trim is easy to wear and keep clean, while the hint of leather around the zipper closure on top makes the Becky bag a bit more grown-up.

A quilted bottom panel and nylon lining add to the overall casual vibe of this Diesel handbag, and the pretty teal blue brings in a little unexpected color. This mid-sized, fashion hybrid purse retails for $105.

This may not be Calvin Klein’s most unusual tote, but it sure is the perfect accompaniment for venturing out into the winter weather!

Everyone loves leather, and it certainly is a great material for making handbags out of. When it is cold and wet and horrible outside, however, practical nylon can be a much more sensible investment. This particular tote does give you some little leather touches, but keeps the bag usable with a majority quilted nylon body.

That quilting doesn’t only give the purse some extra strength, but looks damn good with it. Intelligent and creative embroidery is by no means fuddy duddy, and I really like the effect on this spacious bag. The fact that it is textured yet subtle is just a bonus!

Many people will find that for such a spacious and functional handbag, the leather handles are just a little bit small. They make it a bit of a struggle to hang it over your shoulder, which is a major consideration for any tote. That small loss of practicality, however, is soon made up for by the accompanying folder and smooth satin lining; lovely!
