Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market is making it simpler to ditch plastic grocery bags with its reusable tote giveaway.
To grab one of the free shoppers, just spend $20 or more at a Fresh & Easy store or print out the free coupon from the company’s Facebook page.
“We’ve always believed the best option is a reusable bag and we’re excited to see more and more customers use them,” said Roberto Munoz, Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Affairs Director. “We’re working to raise awareness and get as many bags in customers’ hands as possible through contests, in-store promotions and giveaways.“
Since opening its first store in late 2007, Fresh & Easy has given away more than 600, 000 reusable bags. The measures are part of the chain’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices. The stores typically use 30% less energy than their competitors, thanks to LED lighting, high-tech refrigeration and freezer units, and recycling programs.
If you need more bags to hold your shopping, you can pick them up at Fresh & Easy from 99c. They might not be the most stylish shoppers around, but they definitely do the job!

For the most part, we can rely on Kate Spade for classic retro accessories with just a hint of spice. But every now and then she abandons tradition and creates something fun and frivolous like this Book of the Month clutch.
Reed Krakoff’s new eponymous line is made to please a wide audience. As the former head of Coach, he isn’t exactly a newcomer to the world of handbags. Krakoff knows what women want and delivers exactly that: sharply chic, practical bags that don’t look dated after a season or two. The Boxer II is exactly that.
If Reed Krakoff’s name is familiar, but you can’t quite place it, it’s because he’s been behind the scenes for a while. Okay, well, not exactly behind the scenes, as he was the creative director at Coach that basically rescued the company and made it into the big name brand it is today. The clean, versatile design of this Laced Cadet bag shows that he can make great designs all by himself, and at a much higher quality than his former employer ever used.
Be bang on trend this season with Charles David’s Zelda hobo.
Quilting always runs the risk of looking fuddy duddy and old fashioned. However, in the Bedford Street Noel collection Kate Spade has managed to update the look.
Kara Ross has always impressed me with her sophisticated clutches carefully crafted from luxurious exotics. But sadly this Oriental twist on her popular Nox clutch has left me cold.
Lollington offers an alternative to masculine laptop cases with its fun and feminine range of protective sleeves.
I’ve been one of Juicy Couture’s harshest critics, but even I can admit when the brand does something right. And with the Tomboy Caroline satchel, the label has done several things right. While the name might suggest otherwise, this is a bag which delivers femininity with style.
