This Jessica Simpson Decade hobo is fun and flirty summer fashion at its best for the brand. I don’t know about you, but it just makes we want to throw on some flip-flops and head out to catch some rays.

The brown trim might not be real leather, but its wrapped design is picture perfect for the handbag’s style. Though it doesn’t exactly stand out on this floral version and merely complements the look, the other solid color options available highlight the feature a little better.

If you prefer something brighter than black, blue, brown, or white manmade leather, though, you should opt for the flowers. The Jessica Simpson logo is scattered throughout the pattern, but it’s not obvious enough to be distracting.

This is a very cute novelty handbag from stunning handbag designer, Fendi. Known this season for their bondage-style patent heels, this theme has continued in the two huge shiny buckles mounted on this gentle tan purse.

The purse itself is in a traditional tan satchel design. Trimmed in black patent piping, the curved lines and designer structure are strongly emphasized. That is about as far as the traditional goes, however! Alongside the huge twin buckles that are the bag’s main feature, the  handles are antique colored over-sized chain. There is something of the Alice in Wonderland with this Fendi purse – everything is the wrong size!

Once you get past the more obvious features, you can see the additional details that always set Fendi apart from the rabble. The signature logo buckle prongs are a particularly nice touch! It’s expensive even with these features thrown in, but is a great and deserving member of the collectible Fendi brand.

It comes with a royal name which it never quite lives up to, but Maxx New York’s Majestic hobo is still worth a second look.

While a truly majestic purse might be made from an exotic crocodile skin, or at the very least a lush calf leather, the Maxx New York version is instead crafted from coated twill. It’s a practical choice, delivering the glossy sheen of patent leather without the cost, but I wouldn’t blame princesses for turning up their nose.

If you can get over the less than luxurious material you’ll enjoy a hobo with real style. The quilted body calls to mind more glamorous brands like Chanel, while the structured look is much more chic than a typical hippie hobo.

The interior is generous and glammed up with a metallic cloth lining. A large zippered envelope pouch divides the Majestic into three convenient sections. The walls are packed with pockets of the slip and zip variety, offering plenty of spaces for stashing personal technology, loose change, and other valuables.

The dual handles are of average length, but if you’re after something a little longer just attach the cross-body strap. Practical touches like this should please girls on the go.

It’s never going to work with a flowing ball gown or royal robes, but this Majestic purse is just the thing for carrying with a casual dress or cute jeans and blouse combo.

Luxury fashion label Jimmy Choo has announced a surprising collaboration with affordable fashion retailer H&M.

“We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M so far, and to be designing a collection appealing to fashion savvy, street smart women, and to be including some great pieces for men, too,” founder and president of Jimmy Choo, Tamara Mellon said. “Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection – the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out that night!“

The H&M line will focus on shoes and handbags, although clothes will also be released to complement the pieces. It’s the first time the Swedish retailer will release a capsule collection centering on fashion accessories, rather than focusing on clothes.

The Jimmy Choo for H&M collection will make its debut in H&M stores across the United States on November 14.

Kate Moss is now newcomer to Longchamp ad campaigns. Previously starring with Sasha Pivovarova in the spring/summer “Bobbsey twins” ads, the supermodel is back at it again for the label’s upcoming fall and winter fashion.

In the newest ads, Moss, Canadian model Daria Werbowy, and a few naval-bedecked male models show off the new Longchamp Gatsby handbag. The Gatsby is full of vintage style with a slightly 1940s feminine feel, hence the retro styling of Moss in this ad pictured here.

If I’m going to be completely honest, though, it took me several seconds to even notice the Gatsby in the photo. I mean, are we even supposed to notice it? How on earth is Longchamp calling this an ad for the satchel when it’s practically tossed in the back corner in the shadowed arms of one of the “officers”? At least in Emma Watson’s Burberry ads, you couldn’t help but notice the giant satchels in her arms.

Of course, a gorgeous supermodel is always the main draw for a fashion ad. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Longchamp is going to highlight her as much as possible. At least we get to see a bit more of the handbag in this second photo featuring Moss, Werbowy, and the Gatsby together.

It’s a great bag and an eyecatching set of photos, even if the merchandise isn’t front and center.

The first word that popped into my mind when I saw this Cole Haan Geni bag was “generic”. I can’t honestly say that my opinion has changed much after looking at it for awhile, but simple doesn’t necessarily equal boring in this instance.

There’s no doubt that the design is simplistic and understated. The espresso brown color certainly won’t stop anyone in their tracks. However, the small details on the Geni Satchel are what make it a purchase to consider.

The jacquard material on this mini satchel seems to be a spin on Cole Haan’s signature optical weave seen on bags like the Genevieve and Denney. Though it’s really nothing like the unique look of woven leather, at least it’s more than solid plain fabric. It gives the appearance that there’s more to the texture than there really is, a trompe l’oeil of sorts.

The leather trim and side panels also add to the visual interest of the Geni Shoulder Satchel as well as the side zippers and tassel pull. I also like the subtle touch of braided leather on the handle. It almost seems like a reminder that this is indeed a Cole Haan handbag despite its lack of typical Cole Haan features.

Philip Lim is known for his very unique chic form of minimalism. Almost nothing of his is ever overthought, overdesigned, or gaudy. I say “almost nothing” only because every designer occasionally steps away from their trademark style, but the Mya hobo fits right in to Lim’s usual aesthetic.

I love the shape of this hobo. The longness of it means there’s less surface area at the bottom for all your stuff to fall into but it’s not so elongated that it strays away from the casual charm of a hobo. I love the asymmetrical colorblocked design of the material.

The color palette is so earthy and natural that it gives the bag a very easy to carry air. The green accent on the handle fastening adds to the palette, but personally, I think it gives the bag an overly granola vibe that I personally don’t care for. I do like the ability to attach the handles together, but I don’t care for the color.

While I think the stitch detail on the mustard leather is interesting in and of itself, I think it’s a little weird on the bag. It looks a little too much like the flowery embroidery you might find on a backpack or something, some practical accessory being dressed up to look girly. And there’s nothing I like less than something dressed up to look like something it’s not. I would prefer the spare expanse of leather.

Overall, I think this is a really practical and sturdy bag thats understated aesthetic will appeal to a lot of women. I just don’t happen to be one of them.
