Moschino has teamed up with French blogger turned photographer Garance Doré for its latest Moschino Love advertising campaign. This is Garance Doré’s debut advertising campaign.
Using Doré, rather than an established fashion ad photographer, definitely gives these commercials a fresh feel. There’s a spontaneous energy about them, almost as if the photographer snapped passers-by rather than setting up shots with real models.
It also doesn’t hurt that the accessories and apparel items aren’t half bad either. I love the neutral Milanese cityscapes we see here, which add movement without distracting us from the fashions. These items come from the new Rossella collection, which is named after Moschino’s creative director Rossella Jardini. It was a meeting of the minds for Doré and Jardini, who spent time at Jardini’s apartment after the shoot wrapped.
“I immediately liked her refined style and her Italian humour,” Doré said of Jardini in her blog. “I loved the mix of elegance and sense of humour that can only be found in Rossella’s universe.“
Congratulations to Moschino for taking a risk rather than using the same old snappers. It looks like the decision is already paying dividends.

Baggallini never creates handbags which follow the trends or turn heads, but let’s remember that most of us aren’t all about arm candy. When your day demands substance over style, look to a purse like this Around Town Bagg.
The Marc by Marc Jacobs line is the little sister to the Marc Jacobs collection. It brings the classic MJ design sensibility to a hip audience at a lower price point. At its worst, it’s boring or trendy, but at its best, the Marc by Marc line is a budget fashionista’s dream come true. The Natasha bag falls into the latter category with its hip, urban stylishness.
With its retro good looks and luxury materials, it’s pretty easy to fall for the Lovers Clutch from Rebecca Minkoff
Its name suggests this clutch is ready for the discotheque, but this Mirror Minaudiere from La Regale would look just as comfortable at your next black tie do.
Lucky Brand shows us that we can have bohemian style without the tassels and feathers with this Voodoo Leather Shopper.
If you are looking for something smart and affordable, this work-friendly Trokey tote from Aldo should meet the requirements.
If you want a clutch that is both beautiful and affordable, then can I point you in the direction of J. Renee? The Tashia clutch is the latest in a long line of purses that don’t break the bank but which are pretty without fail.
