Anya Hindmarch’s line of accessories has quickly gained popularity in the past few seasons. Her simple, feminine style is appealing to urban fashionistas, and as far as the fashion world goes, her prices are somewhat reasonable. Unfortunately, this moderately-priced weekend bag is just a little boring.
The design is simple and kind of sleek. But it’s not sleek enough, really, to be eye-catching. It’s just your average, everyday rectangular weekend bag. The patent trim is a nice touch, but it doesn’t really do much to add to the appeal.
This weekender is made of durable black nylon, which is lightweight and easy to clean. The full zip top is helpful, in terms of packing, but it’s pretty lacking in organizational features. Not that a weekend bag needs many, but a little toiletries compartment would be nice.
Basically, this is just luggage. It’s fine, but not terribly exciting, and since it’s not exciting, I don’t really feel like the $660 price tag is reasonable. You could do better for less.
