With the Evil Eye Jalda has created a clutch that’s not as devilish as it sounds!
This clutch gets its name from its large elliptical metal accent. Don’t you think it looks a little like an evil eye? This silvery detail is modern and a great foil for the clutch’s soft black leather body. Without it this fold-over design with its conservative color would have looked ordinary, but this accent helps to elevate things.
It’s more than simply an aesthetic detail though. When you lift up that flap it becomes a handle for a larger purse. Not a comfortable handle, mind you, but one that’s very stylish for occasions when you need the extra storage space.
I love the elegance of the black and silver combo, but I was excited to see the pop of color provided inside. The aqua-blue faille lining is both pretty and practical. Such a shocking shade wouldn’t have looked right on the exterior, but here it’s almost like a little secret we can enjoy.
The Evil Eye is one of those rare purses that is contemporary, yet completely removed from the trends. That timeless appeal should help you see value for your $198.

J. Tiras gives us plenty of bling with the Nancy clutch.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to spend a lot of money on after-five accessories. My social calendar just isn’t busy enough to justify a purse that won’t get a serious workout. However, all too often affordable clutch purses look just as cheap as their prices. So I’m thrilled to find the Reva from J. Renee, a clutch that’s worth every cent of its $89.95 tag.

I hadn’t really heard of Antik Batik until a few seasons ago, but I am duly impressed by its offerings. It has this very posh rock ‘n’ roll bohemian aesthetic that is immediately recognizable, and its prices are almost always amazing. This Bongo bag is one of the best I’ve seen in the line yet.
