I’m not quite sure what Tianni was thinking when creating its Canvas Print Tote. Are you?
This tote has some nice elements, but none of them seem to work together. I was instantly drawn to its saturated teal hue, but the colored canvas isn’t well supported. The tan piping’s not so bad, but the complementary sections near the straps seem tacked on. So does the unexpected patchwork printed flap on the front pocket. And with the oversized zipper pull hanging down from the pocket above, the design feels messy and thrown together. It’s not an assault on the senses, but it’s also not very cohesive.
It’s not a badly designed bag for the money though. We’ve got all the space we could want for, and enough pockets to make it feel manageable. The sweet pastel printing lining adds to the fun.
If you’re on a budget, this Canvas Printed Tote might have all you’re looking for. It’s hard to find any bag of real quality for $56 after all. But we’ve seen Tianni create better than this.
