If you missed out on scoring one of the Missoni for Target goodies don’t fret. The affordable department store chain is following up that monster diffusion line with one by Michelle Obama’s favorite designer, Jason Wu.
Just like Wu’s signature line, the Target range will be inspired by the feminine fashions of the swinging sixties. It’s set to feature apparel items, handbags, and scarves affordable priced between $20 and $60. That top end is still dirt cheap for something like the dress shown in the sketch Wu’s released. It’s also significantly more affordable than anything in Wu’s signature range. Color me excited!
Wu said it was “incredible” partnering with Target for the collection, and that he can hardly wait to bring his affordable designs to women across America. I’m sure they also can’t wait to get their hands on them!
The Jason Wu for Target collection will hit its American stores and website on February 5. Make sure to mark it in your calendar, as I don’t expect these items to hang around for too long! Do you think we’ll see Mrs. Obama joining the queue at her local Target store? And will you be lining up with her to get your hands on these inexpensive Jason Wu goodies?

I don’t mean to scare you, but it’s probably time to start thinking about Christmas gifts. Paco Mena can help you avoid that last minute panic with this Kalha clutch. It even comes ready to give with its own bow!
For years we’ve heard that gray is the new black. But as I look at this lovely Zahara cross-body from Oryany, I wonder whether navy blue is more deserving of that honor!
Australia’s Oroton label epitomizes sophistication and style. But all it takes is one overdone element to take a beautiful bag like the Henri Satchel from gorgeous to gaudy.
In recent years we’ve seen O’Neill evolving from a casual surf brand to a fashion label for all seasons. When once it exclusively produced beach bags, today it makes bags like the Courtney that can work all year round. I appreciate the label’s move towards more fashion forward styles, but sadly I don’t think the Courtney is one of its best.
