Texan born Los Angeles resident Reagan Rowland is doing her bit for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with her range of pink accessories. She’s just added a pretty pink handbag, leather ring, and bracelet to her Henri Lou Jewelry fashion label.

I think this Allie bag is the pick of the bunch. Its dusty pink shade isn’t as sugary as many of the breast cancer pinks we see. I’m not sure that difference is enough to win over anyone who usually steers clear of the shade, but I think it makes a refreshing change from those cotton candy colors, and more conservative blacks and browns.

This satchel is on the expensive side at $360, but as it’s handcrafted from real leather that price also isn’t entirely unreasonable. And 15% of that money will be directly donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, helping the charity research breast cancer and support those suffering with the disease.

It’s only fitting that Rebecca Minkoff called this satchel the Covet, because that’s exactly what it’s making me do!

It’s the ideal blend of old meets new with its golden turn-lock closure and sexy red leather finish. It’s got a lovely classic look about it, but its functional features are made with modern women in mind.

A central wall divides the playful leopard print lined interior into two main compartments. Each section is packed with more pockets to take care of essential gadgets and other small valuables. The top handle looks the business, but it’ll be a bit awkward to use once the Covet is full. That’s no matter though, as we can always attach the longer cross-body strap.

This Covet satchel looks like a fashion forward take on a briefcase, and if your office is creative enough it could probably become your next work bag. However its style is so compelling, it’d be a shame not to take it out after five! At $425 it’s not expensive by designer standards, but I imagine you’ll still want to get as much use for your dollars as you can!

Carrying an EpiPen just got a whole lot more fashionable thanks to Epi-Essentials. The company has just released a range of chic handbags and accessory cases for allergy sufferers.

The innovative range is the first of its kind combining fashion forward looks and functional features for carrying epinephrine auto-injectors and other allergy medications. It was developed by Epi-Essentials founder Dana Lustbader, a mother of a teen with multiple food allergies. She said girls her daughter’s age and older tend to leave their EpiPens at home as they are inconvenient and uncool to carry. However carrying an EpiPen at all times is the best way to combat an unexpected allergy emergency. And stashing it in a chic Epi-Essentials purse seems like the most stylish way to do it!

The Epi-Essentials range features a Grab and Go Handbag and an Accessory Case. Both options have dual zip compartments for medical supplies and life’s other essentials. They’re made of leather in a range of colors from conservative midnight black, saddle brown, and mystic navy to the more unusual candy apple red and pumpkin spice. Complementary patterned cotton lining complements the chic leather exteriors.

The Accessory Case costs $68 while the Grab and Go Handbag is a bit more expensive at $118. Both are available from the Epi-Essentials website.

A little heavy metal makes all the difference with this Daphne shoulder bag from Rampage.

At its core this is a very simple, and dare I say boring, shoulder bag. But by adding some chunky silver chain to the sides, Rampage has made it a bit more appealing. The metal doesn’t do all the work though. I particularly like this rich green hue which Rampage calls mallard. This duck-inspired color isn’t our only option though. There’s a brown so deep it’s almost black, an ivory hue called dove, and a dark navy known as eclipse. The colors are conservative but also not as predictable as the shades many labels offer.

The chains really are the Daphne’s big defining feature though, and I’m not sure they’re well executed enough to sell the bag. The interior is mid-sized and serviceable, with just the right amount of pockets. The long, flat shoulder strap is also very user-friendly. But I’ve seen all these elements on other bags that had a lot more going for them.

Then again, those bags tend to be a lot more expensive than this one. At $88 the Daphne is very reasonably priced, even if it’s not very exciting.

American label Ralph Lauren goes to the wilds of Africa with this Java Classic Tote.

From a distance this seems like a cheap and cheerful tote bag, but we should know by now that Ralph Lauren doesn’t do anything without a splash of luxury. Its body is made from beautiful silk faille, and its handles and trim real tan vachetta leather. I really love the tribal inspired print decorating the silk, but if it’s not to your taste you could opt for the zebra print. Both have that “into the wild” feel that’s sure to turn heads in the urban jungle, so the choice is yours!

The interior is simple, but Ralph Lauren’s attention to detail makes all the different. It closes with a sunken zip, so we get the security we crave without interrupting the tote’s clean lines. The pockets are also trimmed in leather to help them survive daily use. And of course there’s plenty of storage space, ensuring this tote can handle anything you need to carry, and a few extras beside.

We pay a bit of a premium for the materials, but at $168 this Java Classic tote still isn’t unreasonably priced for such a well put together bag.

Christian Dior has teamed up with German artist Anselm Reyle for a colorful capsule collection.

The fashion range features vibrant handbags, bracelets, key rings, and nail polishes. The pieces are adorned with the neon colors Reyle famously works with, making them much more modern than anything we’ve seen from Dior before. But the fashion house’s deputy general manager Delphine Arnault insists they’re a natural fit for her brand.

“Mr. Dior in his time was fascinated by artists like René Gruau and Christian Berard,” she explained. In fact, one of Christian Dior’s earliest projects was the opening of an art gallery in 1928. “Art is part of the DNA of Dior.“

The collaboration is a significant pairing, as Reyle has never lent his designs to a fashion range before. That exclusivity, and the range’s limited edition status, should see it become a big seller when it goes on sale in early December. The artsy collection will be available from a pop-up store in Miami during Florida’s Art Basel event, although there’s talk it’ll be rolled out to other Dior stores after that.

Following the dismissal of John Galliano earlier this year, the new artistic collection seems well times. I think we were all craving something new and creative from the label. Are you excited to see Dior showing a more flamboyant and colorful side?

With some snakeskin embossing and a whole lot of attitude Rafe shows us just how sophisticated a hobo can be with the Denise.

It’s got that familiar crescent shape, but this really is a new breed of hobo. It’s much more bad girl than bohemian hippie chick. I love the way the leather criss-crosses over the body, and the way the scaly surface gently contrasts with the smoother natural finish. It’s got some delicious details, but by keeping the design all in black Rafe keeps the Denise timeless.

Its long, flat strap is another plus. We can easily grab it as we’re running out the door, and feel secure knowing it won’t slide off our shoulder.

The Denise is luxuriously large, and while Rafe hasn’t exceeded our expectations the array of pockets it’s provided does the trick. Choosing a colored lining rather than the black one would have made it easier to locate our items, but this is my only real quibble.

At $450 this hobo isn’t exactly a bargain, but it’s also quite reasonably priced by designer standards. Pair it with your favorite jeans and wait for the compliments to roll in!

The accolades just keep on coming for Ann “Supergran” Timson, the plucky pensioner who apprehended would be jewel thieves with nothing but her handbag. The 71-year-old Northampton native was presented with a Pride of Britain award at Monday night’s ceremony in London.

The honor comes just months after she received a Police Bravery Award. This was a much more elaborate affair, with the gran sharing the stage with high profile presenters Jason Donovan, Holly Valance, Tess Daly, Robbie Savage, and Anton Du Beke.

As well as her glass trophy, Mrs. Timson was presented with a brand new handbag at the ceremony. I suppose her original one probably took a beating fending off all those crims!

Despite all the platitudes, Mrs. Timson is keeping her feet firmly planted on the ground. She said she never expected any recognition for her extraordinary bravery, although it must be pretty exciting to be rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous.

Mrs. Timson might not be a household name, but it seems the celebs she appeared with were a little bit star struck. Anton Du Beke called Mrs. Timson “quite a girl,” before adding “I admire her enormously.” Jason Donovan praised Mrs. Timson’s “great spirit,” commenting that “there are not many people in the room with half her courage.”

Mrs. Timson might be happy living a quiet life, but something tells me we haven’t seen the last of this feisty grandmother.

The old adage that good things come in small packages certainly holds true for Radley’s D’Arblay.

I’ve fallen hard for this pint-sized purse. Brown usually bores me, but in suede the color gets a whole new depth. The golden hardware is a beautiful complement to the conservative hue. And how darling is the bow-shaped clasp?

I’m never the greatest fan of chain straps, but even that’s bowled me over. Rather than a stock standard silver chain the D’Arblay features a delicate golden one. Its double strand of links looks super luxe and its leather center cushions our shoulder, so we get the best of both worlds.

The petite interior compromises storage space, but I’m impressed by what Radley’s crammed in here. The zip and slip pockets are trimmed in leather, and the built in mirror is always on hand for those emergency cosmetic touch-ups.

The D’Arblay certainly has a vintage feel, but something tells me it’ll look stylish long after our infatuation with the fifties has faded. Or at least as long as the suede holds up!

Is there anything more cheerful than a yellow handbag? As I’m looking at this Puma Originals Mono Satchel in the color it calls spectra yellow, I can’t think of a happier alternative!

Of course such a vivid hue won’t be to everyone’s taste. Personally though, I find this daring tone a welcome change from the sea of black, brown, and beige bags. And I think Puma gets away with such a bright color by keeping the rest of the satchel so simple. Even its logo is so subtly embossed that you need to look for it. The shape is classic, and its dimensions large but not enormous.

Puma typically creates gym gear, but I wouldn’t let my stinky sneakers near this handbag. Its leather-like finish makes it much more appropriate for a day running errands, or even one in a creative office. The choice of handles and generous size makes this satchel even more versatile.

The color may make some people hesitate, but for just $75 I don’t think we need to. At this price, we won’t mind if it only makes occasional outings. And won’t it add a delightful pop when it does step out?
